The majority of accommodation in Plagne 1800 is catered chalets, and Topflight has a huge selection of them, each boasting great locations close to the resort centre and slopes. There are several bars in Plagne 1800, each offering entertaining evenings of aprés-ski. Topflight recommends visiting La Mine, a bustling bar where skiers gather for some post slope chats and some fantastic live music. For those looking to continue the fun that bit longer, you can hop on the free shuttle bus that goes to the centre of Plagne until midnight.
Looking for an alternative adrenaline buzz? Then a visit to the Olympic Bobsleigh and Luge Piste is a must. Not for the faint-hearted, the 19-bend track will see you hitting some serious speeds, and, if needed, you can opt for the comfort and company of a professional bob sleigh pilot to take you down the serpentine run!

I am passionate about skiing and the mountains, working or enjoying the mountain life in resorts in the Austrian and French alps, as well as the Pyrenees and Nepalese Himalayas over the years. Hello and welcome to France! My name is Louise or ‘Lou’. I'm from Australia, which you'll probably tell from my accent, although some people say l have an Irish head on me! We don’t have any big mountains in Australia and not a lot of snow so I am lucky enough to come and work in the European Alps for the Winter. This will be my 5th ski season for Topflight & DirectSki, working in both Austria and France.
