With everything that you could need from your accommodation in Niederau, the Hotel Sonnschein is the perfect choice for ski lovers, offering a wealth of great facilities to make use of.
You’ll find plenty of great reasons to choose the 4 star Hotel Sonnschien for your ski break, not least, its great spa area. There are 2 indoor pools, 2 saunas, an aromatic steam bath, infrared cabin and a hot tub so that no matter how much you exert yourself on the slopes, you can refresh and unwind in the hotel’s spa.
You’ll also find that the hotel features table tennis, a convenient ski storage room and an indoor playroom for the little ones too. The hotel’s bar is the perfect place to while away a few hours with a drink or two or you can make use of the gorgeous sun terrace.
Your stay at the Hotel Sonnschein entitles you to a Wildschönau Card, free of charge, for the duration of your stay. This entitles you to free admission to local museums, guided hikes and some public transport, amongst other things.
Guests can enjoy a breakfast buffet in the mornings and in the evening, a 4 course dinner with a salad buffet and a choice of main course. The hotel’s restaurant serves up delicious Austrian food should you wish to dine as locals but you can also enjoy some great international dishes too.

Bobo's Kinder Club exists purely for the fun of children. Here the friendly ski instructors, trained to work with children, make sure your youngsters learn by having fun. Children aged 2 years and over are welcome here and our opening hours are Sunday to Friday 09.30 to 15.30

Originally from Dublin, I started skiing from a young age in Italy, and my love for both adventure and the slopes eventually brought me to Austria. I’ve always had a deep appreciation for beautiful scenery and nature, and I’m thrilled to be surrounded by it every day here and get to show you too! Whether it's the crisp mountain air, breathtaking views, or the inedible skiing conditions, there's no place like it. I’m here to greet you upon arrival and help with anything you might need, big or small. My goal is to make sure you have an unforgettable experience, and I look forward to sharing this amazing wonderland with you.
Lynsey Mackay
My name is Lynsey and I have huge passion for both winter and summer sports, having worked for Topflight for over 10 years in Austria, France, Andorra and Italy. As an avid skier and snowboarder, you'll find me making the most of slopes during the winter months and in the summer I swap my skis for sandals to enjoy all that Lake Garda has to offer. I couldn’t possibly choose which season I prefer, I’ve skied since I was 5 years old and I can never get enough but there’s also something really magical about the spending the summer on Lake Garda.

Hi, my name is Sue and I am originally from Yorkshire. Austria is now my home and I have had the great privilege of living in the mountains for the last 16 years. I have worked for Topflight in most of their resorts and this winter I will be working as Admin support for our fantastic Austrian team and will be on duty on Saturdays at Salzburg airport.
